Villas Carrizalillo is a secluded boutique hotel situated on the cliffs overlooking the scenic Playa Carrizalillo in Puerto Escondido. The property offers fantastic ocean views from the front terrace and direct, private access to the beach below. Playa Carrizalillo is an excellent beach for swimming, snorkeling, fishing, as well as surfing and boogie-boarding. All villas come with fully equipped kitchens and private patios. Several units enjoy breathtaking beach and ocean views. The Villas are also available to host special events: weddings, reunions and retreats. The nine seperate villas can accomodate up to 40 people and contains two large outdoor common areas for entertaining: there is a large common courtyard in the middle of the complex as well as a large open terrace in the back of the property, which boasts perfect views of the sunset and Carrizalillo Bay. Special parties and events may be arranged on Playa Carrizalillo as well. Location and distances to local attractions Villas Carrizalillo has the ability to give you the feel of being in an isolated location, without actually being isolated. In fact, the property is very centrally located. We are only a 5 minute cab ride from the Puerto Escondido airport, 5 minutes by cab to the local market and grocery store, 5 minutes to a variety of restaurants and shopping on the Adoquien, 5 minutes to Zicatela Beach, and just a short walk to restaurants and shopping on the Rinconada. Cabs can be called for you at the front office from 8 AM to 9 PM and will pick you up right at the front gate. The cabs will take you to most places in the area for around 25 pesos. Cabs are also easily hailed almost anywhere in town, so transportation is quite convenient and rarely a problem in Puerto. Should you want to leave Puerto and explore other areas of the region, transportation can be arranged to pick you up and take you wherever you desire for a reasonable fee.
